The responsibility for all publication activities of The Augustan Society, Inc., — print and electronic — are vested in an '''Editor-in-Chief''', which is the style affected by the Chairman of the [[Communications Committee|Communications Department]]. He is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the [[President]].
The activities he oversees may be broadly divided into:
* Books
* Websites
* Social Media, including Society fora
* Email
* Stationery
* [[Production Editor]]
While it is desirable to staff all of the above offices, when suitable volunteers are unavailable, the Editor-in-Chief will generally serve in these roles.
