The exact standards of this approval have not yet been defined. They will be more relaxed than the Genealogical Proof Standard to be used for [[Certified Lineages]].
At present, the standards for approval are simply the discretion of whichever member of the Genealogy Committee is assigned , as they must obtain a majority vote in favor of each reviewlineage for it to be recommended to the [[Board]] for acceptance. It is to be hoped that the [[Genealogy Committee Chairman]] will clearly define those standards and post them here.
For an approved lineage to be acceptable for induction into one of the society's [[Lineage Groups]], the Genealogy Committee must submit to [[Headquarters Staff]] the signed petition, the lineage in [[Standard Lineage Format]] (including source references), a count of the generations included, and the time spent to review and approve the lineage.
