Changes

The Forum is a feature of our main website[[Main Website]], and is under the direction of the Forum Moderator. As that office is presently vacant, the Forum has been disabled.

==[[LinkedIn]]== There is an Augustan Society LinkedIn page. It is presently dormant, and serves primarily to reserve that name-space. No activity is expected until a volunteer moderator is named.

This under the direction of the [[Assistant Secretary]], is was a private forum intended for use by members of the [[Board]], [[Headquarters staffStaff]], and the [[Chairman|Chairmen]] of major committees to discuss Society business, and perhaps conduct some preliminary conversations about items to come before the Board. It was under the moderation of the [[Webmaster]].

Due to a lack of participation, this This group is presently dormantwas deactivated by order of the [[President]], with only the webmaster Webmaster retaining membership. It may be quickly reactivated at need.

<li>[[Back Issue Digitizing Study Group]] &mdash; PDF files of back issues are posted, along with RTF files with the output of OCR software. Volunteers convert the latter into OCR (or DOC) files more nearly suitable for publication.</li>

A Twitter account has been proposed for the Society, but it has not yet been implemented for lack of a moderator and a source of frequent data to post. It is not expected that this will be activated until and unless the Facebook page gets a moderator and decent support, at which point diverting some of that data flow to Twitter will become relatively trivial.
