Candidates must be a member in good standing at the time of their nomination.
[[Consuls ]] will nominate a small number of candidates based on the increase in their Fellowship scores over the past year.
[[Directors ]] may nominate other members in good standing for just cause.
The Board, meeting in closed session, will select the deserving candidate.
While it is expected that an award will be granted each year, the Board is not obliged to do so.

Upon election:
Consuls will send a Letter of notification, with a copy to the [[Augustæum]] Editor.
Consuls will create a [[Certificate of Award]], signed electronically by the [[President, ]] and [[Secretary]], and affix the [[Corporate Seal]], and send this to the recipient with the above letter. If the honoree attends the [[Convention]] in the year of his award, the insignia will be given to them gratis. Otherwise, they may purchase the insignia.
