Historical Note: The reason for invitations to be routed through the Rose Chancellor originally was that our [[Founder]] served as "Rose Chancellor for Life". This rule permitted him to prevent induction of the "wrong sort of knight". With the transition to Headquarters Staff, this provision is probably obsoleteno longer serves this function.
