As The Augustan Society, Inc., publishes ''[[Augustan Society Roll of Arms|The Augustan Society Roll of Arms]]'' and ''[[Rose Roll of Arms|The Rose Roll of Arms]]'', there needs to exist the office of '''Rolls Editor'''. He is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the [[Editor-in-Chief]]. In future, it may prove worthwhile to attach this office to the [[Books Editor]] instead.
Duties of the Rolls Editor are to edit:
* New volumes of ''The Augustan Society Roll of Arms'';
* Reprints of out-of-print volumes of ''The Augustan Society Roll of Arms'' (primarily those which need editing or colorizing);
* Editions of ''The Rose Roll of Arms'';
