Policies are adopted by the [[Board|Board of Directors]] by motion or resolution, and thus are all included in the [[Minutes]]. What follows is a summary of those policies adopted between June 2012 2011 and December 2014May 2015, inclusive.

1312A1209A: [[AwardsAnnual Convention]] — The Balling Award will be granted to one individual each year for having made the greatest contribution to the Society in the previous year. Should this award be granted to an individual six times, the last will be the Metzler award, and they will thereafter conventions shall be ineligible for eitherheld annually. 1308A2012: [[FellowshipConflict of Interest Policy]] — The point value for articles published in the [[Omnibus]] shall be 250 points. (August 2013December 2020, item XXIVXV)

1308B1112: [[FellowshipDirectors Emeritus]] — The point value for recruiting new members shall be 200 pointsAdopted "as published". (August 2013December 2011, item XXIVV.2)

1304B2303: [[Fellowship]] — Members The point value required for election to Fellowship is set at a value designed to permit half of all members to qualify for Fellowship. The multiplier between Fellowship ranks from FAS/5 to FAS/1 is set at a value designed to permit half of all members to qualify for Fellowship, first class. The multiplier between Fellowship ranks beyond FAS/1 is set to 2. The values of the first two variables are to be adjusted monthly by an amount of approximately 1%. Such adjustments may be elected up or promoted down. No one will be awarded Fellowship or a promotion due to changes the Fellowship rank deserved the point values; such election or promotion must wait until their next contribution.
