Statements Under the [[Consuls]], statements that exceed this length will be edited to fit. Depending on original length, this may be a trivial matter, or it could be a major overhaul. Post-Consuls, statements will be truncated at 100 words.
If Whenever a statement is received more than 30 days before the deadlineedited or truncated, the edited Statement or truncated statement will be returned to the candidate for review, and amended submissions will be accepted up to the deadline. Over-long statements received less than 30 days before the deadline There will not be returned to no extension of the candidatedeadlines as a result of this action.
Such statements as are received by the deadline will be published on the back of the ballot, on a separate sheet, or in ''Augustæum'' when it is mailed with the ballots. For fairness, no extension of the submission deadline will be permitted.
