One of the primary subjects of the topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is Chivalrychivalry, and a significant subset of that topic is the philosophy of chivalry and membership in Orders of Chivalryknighthood. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include a '''Chivalric Philosophy Study Group. Presently inactive, it may be revived at the request of any Member in [[Good Standing]]'''.
Note that this is separate from the [[Chivalry Committee]], the [[Chivalry Study Group]], and the [[ICI Members' Newsletter]] (though it has much in common with the latter).
This group is presently dormant, but may be revived by any interested Member by petition to the [[Dean of Studies]].
The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
