One of the subjects of the topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is that of witches in Colonial America. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include a Colonial Witches Study Group.
Historically, this included a study of their trials, genealogies, and general history. It did not address Wicca or other pagan religions.
Presently inactive, this This group is presently dormant, but may be revived at the request of by any interested Member in by petition to the [[Good StandingDean of Studies]].
The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
