One of the subjects of the members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is genealogy, and a significant subset of that topic, especially for American genealogists, is Eastern and Central European genealogy and immigration. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include a an '''Central Eastern & Central European Genealogy Study Group'''.
Presently inactive, this group was once a committee large enough to publish it's own magazine, ''The [[Eastern & Central European Genealogist]]''. It may be revived at the request of any Member in [[Good Standing]].
