One of the subjects studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is Ancient Egypt. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include an '''Egyptology Study Group'''.
Recently activated, The charter of this group must address as their first task is, "The Egyptology Study Group studies the history, culture, theology, architecture, archaeology, and language of creating a Charter Egypt from its predynastic origins to define the scope of their studieslast historic inscription in hieroglyphic script in the 5th Century AD."
There is a large clippings file left by the previous group. It contains many unidentified clippings and some unrelated items. [[Headquarters Staff]] began a screening This will be shippd to discard the unidentified clippings and move the unrelated items to a more appropriate place, but this has been discontinued for lack of time and member interest. Books and periodicals Study Group as soon as they are being transferred to the [[Library]]ready.
