It has been tradition since 2007 that these two offices will be held by the two [[Consuls]], but that is not a condition of their contract, and each must be nominated by their respective senior officer and stand for election by the Board each year.

The ''[[Magister Rosae ]]'' is elected each year by the [[Noble Company of the Rose]] (and confirmed by the Board). Membership in good standing in both the Society and Company is required.
