These offices are created by the [[By-Laws#ARTICLE V — OFFICERS|By-Laws]]. The office of Chairman is optional, and need not be filled. All are elected annually at the first Board meeting following the [[Annual Meeting]], or the conclusion of the election of [[Directors]], if later.
At times, it may be desired to create additional Vice-Presidencies. When this occurs, each should be given a distinctive title, like "Vice-President for Membership". When such exist, the Vice-President specified in the [[By-Laws]] should be styled "Senior Vice-President". The additional Vice-Presidents will rank after the Treasurer in the order they were appointed.
