A proposal has been discussed to create the office of Executive Director. This officer would be elected by the [[Board]] and serve at their pleasure. He need not be a member, but membership could be one of the benefits provided. It could be a paid position. When the office is filled, the Executive Director would have all powers of the Board except his own hiring, compensation, and amending the [[By-Laws]].
There are two motivations for creating this office.
