In pursuit of the study of history, The Augustan Society, Inc., has created a First Peoples [[Study Groups|Study Group]]. This group is headed by a Coordinator appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the [[Dean of Studies]] Chairman, or when that post is vacant, by the [[President]].
In the past, this group was quite active, and sponsored the First Peoples collection in the [[Library]], the donation of artifacts and reproductions, and the occasional article for the [[The Augustan Omnibus|''Omnibus'']].
