Maintaining access to heraldic registrations, both of the Society and of other agencies, is an important tool for the heraldic activities of The Augustan Society, Inc. Thus it is appropriate that there be a Heraldry Index, Armorial, & Ordinary Study Group to develop same.
Presently active, policies and proceedures are under development.
This Study Group was formed by merging the Heraldry Index and Armorial & Ordinary Study Groups. It may some day be worth considering separation, should sufficient volunteers be available.
