The OPAC is available to all from the web site: <[http://library.augustansociety.org library.augustansociety.org]>. Any graphical web browser should be able to provide access.
The software used is Koha <[http://koha-community.org koha.-community.org]>, a free, open-source, community-supported software package that runs natively under Linux, and can be made to run under most versions of Windows and Mac OS-X or better through virtualization.
The software and data are located on the Society's off-site server, presently hosted by RimuHosting <[http://rimuhosting.com rimuhosting.com]>.
At present, only books and some periodicals are being cataloged, though it is hoped that we will soon start to catalog periodicals as well. Eventually, the list is expected to expand to include videos, brochures, maps, and clipping files.
