'''Membership''' in The Augustan Society, Inc., may be in any one of four classes: [[Regular Membership]], [[Student Membership]], [[Life Membership]], [[Sponsored Membership]], or [[Honorary Membership]].
Procedures for handling each class are outlined on the pages linked above.
Note that Membership is not the same as being a subscriber. While a subscription is included with most classes of membership, they are not identical. It is quite possible to have non-member subscribers.
[[Membership Privileges]] are set by the [[Eagle Council]] and apply only to Members in [[Good Standing]].
[[Return to Membership]] — except for Life Members as described abvoe — is a different process than new membership, and has a different procedure.
Membership recruitment is the responsibility of the [[Membership Committee|Membership Committee-of-the-Whole]].
