In order to recruit and retain members, The Augustan Society, Inc., has created need of a '''Membership Committee'''. It is chaired by the Membership Committee Chairman, who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the [[President]].
The Committee is responsible for providing the overall leadership, planning, and oversight for the Society's strategy for membership development.
* Driving and leading new membership growth, satisfaction, and retention;
* Ensuring strategic focus and alignment with the Society's organization objectives, operational strategy, and market needs;
* Developing programs and services directed towards building stronger relationships between the Society and its members;
* Growing the Society's global membership base.
