The Augustan Society, Inc., has had the study of numismatics (coins) within its purview, and it is was delegated to the '''Numismatic Study Group ''' to conduct that study. In the natural course of events, this study has included compiling a small collection of coins.
These coins are used both for now having been disposed of as part of the study thereofpurge of the [[Museum]], and photographs or rubbings of same maybe used it is appropriate to illustrate Society publications. To this end, a small collection that display images of monarchs, seals, heraldry, and perhaps other topics should rightly be held, even while terminate this Study Group is inactive.
