The primary function of this office is to manage the generation of reviews and supervise the reviewers. While he may write reviews himself, that should not be permitted to interfere with his primary duty to solicit, assign, and supervise others in this activity.
Should this office be vacant, the duties are to be assumed by the ''Omnibus'' Editor.
