Responsibility for review of proposed recognition lies with the [[Royalty & Nobility Committee]], which has not yet established a procedure or petition forms for such. The procedure should be listed here once it has been agreed upon.
The [[Royalty & Nobility Chairman|Chairman]] has the authority to waive fees when the petition comes from Members. He does not have that authority when a non-member makes petition.
That said, the Committee will consider and vote on recommending recognition to the Board. Note that a favorable recommendation requires assent from a majority of the members of the Committee, less any who are obliged to recuse themselves. The number, but not the identity, of those assenting must be submitted to Headquarters.
