The Augustan Society, Inc., recognizes Orders of Chivalry and Titles of Royalty and Nobility, all of which are necessarily dependent upon a legitimate ''fons honorum''. Thus it is appropriate that the Society have a procedure for review and recognition '''Recognition of such ''fontes honorumFontes Honorum'''.'' Responsibility for review of proposed recognition lies with the [[Royalty & Nobility Committee]]. They have established a [[House Recognition Procedure]] that details the process they will follow. Fees are normally charged for such recognition, but the [[Royalty & Nobility Chairman]], at his sole discretion, may waive such fees when the petition is submitted by a [[Directors|Director]] or a member of the Royalty & Nobility Committee.
