Headquarters Staff may, at their discretion, refer any such petition to the [[Chivalry Committee]] if they have any doubt that recognition is approrpriate. There will be no fee for this referral, though the Chivalry Committee may create a petition form to be used.
Once it has been decided that recognition is apropriate, Headquarters Staff will create an entry into the membership roster and inform the petitioner, the [[Webmaster]], the [[Augustæum Editor|''Augustæum'' Editor]], and the Chivalry Committee Chairman of the change in rank.
