The [[Heraldry Training Study Group]] has been established to develop a formal training program in international heraldry.
A text likely to be useful is [https://store.augustansociety.org/shopping/product/4 The Little Manual of Heraldry]. Presently available in the 3rd edition, the [[Books | Books Committee]] has assigned the task of creating a 4th edition that should be better organized and in color.
Review of heraldic competence is presently done on a case-by-case basis. This is done by the last surviving Registered Heraldist, but as more are granted this recognition, it is planned to make this a formal add-on to the heraldry training program.
