Duties presumed are management of the heraldic affairs of the Noble Company. These might be expected to include:
#*Confirming the armigerous status of potential members;#*Assisting potential members with the registration of their arms with the Society;#*Maintaining a record of the arms of all members, particularly the Society [[Registration of Arms|Registrations of Arms]]; and#*Editing the [[Rose Roll of Arms]] in cooperation with the [[Communications|Communications Department]].
