The Society of Descendants of Scotland (SDS) is a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc. [[Headquarters Staff]] are assigned to manage the affairs of this lineage group, and an individual assigned to the SDS is called the '''SDS Administrator'''. The SDS Administrator was a contractural duty of the [[Consuls]], but with that office being eliminated at the end of 2017, it devolves onto Headquarters Staff generally.
The duties of Headquarters Staff with regard to the SDS include:
* Advising the [[President]] on suitable candidates for the office of SDS Dean; and
* Other administrative, clerical, and ceremonial duties as may be required.
