drop survey responsibility in favor of Dean of Studies
* Provide the overall leadership, planning, and oversight for the Society's strategy for membership development and marketing.
* Driving and leading new membership growth, satisfaction, and retention.
* Conduct periodic [[Member Interest Survey|Member Interest Surveys]] to monitor members interests and identify potential volunteers.
* Conduct periodic [[Skill Needs Survey|Skill Needs Surveys]] to determine what skills are needed by the various Committees and Sub-Groups.
* Conduct periodic [[Member Skills Survey|Member Skills Surveys]] to determine what skills are posessed by members who might be asked to put them to use on behalf of the various Committees and Sub-Groups.
