In order that the [[Board]] and Membership of The Augustan Society, Inc., remain appraised of the activities of the [[Consuls]], and of their opinions of how the Society is doing and where attention is needed, it has been customary for the Consuls to deliver a "State of the Society" address at the [[Annual Membership Meeting]].
Copies of those addresses are occasionall occasionally distributed to the entire Board or Membership at the direction of the Board.
