The officers of the [[Order of the Augustan Eagle]], a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include an Eagle Secretary General.

According to the [[Rule of the Order]], this officer is appointed by the [[Chief of the Order]], confirmed by the [[Board]], and serves at the pleasure of the former.

Statutory duties include:
*Service on the [[Eagle Council]]

Presumed duties include:
*Overseeing the records of the Order
*Overseeing the secretarial duties of the [[Eagle Administrator]]

Note: The office of Eagle Administrator is normally filled by the [[Assistant Secretary]].
