The officers of the [[Noble Company of the Rose]], a dependency of The Augustan Society, Inc., include a Superintendent of the [[Chapel of the Rose]].

According to the [[Rule of the Company]], this officer is appointed by the ''[[Magister Rosae]]'', confirmed by the [[Board]], and serves at the pleasure of the former.

Statutory duties include:
*Service on the [[Rose Council]]

Presumed duties include:
*Overseeing the Chapel of the Rose when such exists
*Planning for the Chapel of the Rose, when it does not exist
*Collecting such items as would be of use in furnishing the Chapel of the Rose
*Proposing an annual budget and a target for the [[Rose Chapel Fund]] to the Council (when possible), or to the Finance Committee

Note: The Chapel of the Rose has historically been located within the Society's [[Headquarters]], but this is not required.
