View source for Approved Lineages

The [[Genealogy Committee]] of The Augustan Society, Inc., provides a service to review and recommend '''Approved Lineages''', that are submitted to the Society for any of a number of purposes.

The exact standards of this approval have not yet been defined. They will be more relaxed than the Genealogical Proof Standard to be used for [[Certified Lineages]].

At present, the standards for approval are simply the discretion of whichever member of the Genealogy Committee is assigned each review.
