This officer is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the [[Treasurer]].

Duties include:

* Serving on the [[Finance Committee]]
* Designing and maintaining the accounting structure, on which the [[Budget]] and the bookkeeping are based, in consultation with the [[Assistant Treasurer]].
* Managing the process of developing the annual [[Budget]] for the Society, and for its [[Sub-Groups]].
