This person is responsible for do-ordinating the activities of the Genealogy Committee.
Some of these entail the following:
Establish and maintain standards of proof, with member input, for submitted lineages to our various subgroups that require them Assist, when called upon, to evaluate the accuracy of lineages submitted for said subgroups Co-ordinate projects that fall under the scope of this committee
Procedures for lineage approval:
1. Receive application 2. Examine application for sources and whether they meet our requirements if so, check sources to verify whether it supports the lineage claim. if not, request better sources from applicant 3. If data is verified, application is approved. 4. If verifiable data is not listed in original application, or not forthcoming after it is requested, application is denied and applicant advised to try again later with verifiable sources
