The Cataloging Fund of The Augustan Society, Inc., was created from a $10,000 grant from an anonymous donor, who stipulated that it be used to defray the costs of cataloging the Library collection.

To date, this has been used for incidental expenses, staff mileage, and for a time the rental of a storage unit to hold personal property of the Metcalfs to permit a room of their house to be used for cataloging. This last use has ended and will not be resumed.

It is hoped that once the bulk of the cataloging is complete, the donor will permit any balance to be used for other library-related purposes.
