The Registration of Arms program of The Augustan Society, Inc., is managed by the Heraldry Committee. This Committee has need of someone responsible for record keeping and tracking of petitions that none may be neglected. This duty has been assigned to the Arms Chancellor.
The Arms Chancellor is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Justiciar General and as such is a voting member of the Heraldry Committee. Practical requirements of the job are facility with computer records and email.
