The Augustan Society, Inc., recognizes Orders of Chivalry and Titles of Royalty and Nobility, all of which are necessarily dependent upon a legitimate fons honorum. Thus it is appropriate that the Society have a procedure for review and Recognition of Fontes Honorum.
Responsibility for review of proposed recognition lies with the Royalty & Nobility Committee, which has not yet established a procedure or petition forms for such. The procedure should be listed here once it has been agreed upon.
The Chairman has the authority to waive fees when the petition comes from Members. He does not have that authority when a non-member makes petition.
That said, the Committee will consider and vote on recommending recognition to the Board.
