Given that The Augustan Society, Inc., is named for Caesar Augustus and the civilization he is credited with building, it is entirely appropriate for the Society to include an Age of Augustus Study Group.

Presently inactive, this group may be revived at the request of any interested member. It has, at times, been included within the Greco-Roman Studies Group. Such combinations are routinely made and separated as the interests of the membership dictate.

The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
