One of the topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is Roman history, politics, philosophy, and its legacy. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include a Roman Study Group.
Presently inactive, this group has at times been expanded into a Grecco-Roman Study Group. Such expansions (and contractions) are routinely made and undone as the interests of the membership dictate.
The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
