Providing public access to the heraldic registrations of The Augustan Society, Inc., is necessary for our registrations to have any impact. Thus it is appropriate that there be an Online Armorial & Ordinary Study Group to develop same.

The goal of this Study Group is to upload color emblazonments with blazons for all arms registered by the Society to the Armorial; and to add each of these to an alphabetical Index of Arms and to the online Ordinary or Arms for ease of access.

Once this goal has been reached, the second traunch of arms to be uploaded are those which have been published in Augustan magazines and books (and perhaps those published by allied organizations). This will not be possible for all, as many have been published without full blazon or even without identification of the armiger.

This Study Group was, for a time, merged with the Heraldry Index Study Group to form the Heraldry Index, Armorial, & Ordinary Study Group. These were shortly thereafter separated again.
