One of the subjects studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is Ancient Egypt. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include an Egyptology Study Group.
The charter of this group is, "The Egyptology Study Group studies the history, culture, theology, architecture, archaeology, and language of Egypt from its predynastic origins to the last historic inscription in hieroglyphic script in the fifth century AD."
There is a large clippings file left by the previous group. It contains many unidentified clippings and some unrelated items. This will be shippd to the Study Group as soon as they are ready.
