In order to broadly engage with the public, and to inform potential members of the existence of The Augustan Society, Inc., a Facebook account has been established in the name of the Society.
Nominally, this This site is managed by the [[Facebook Moderator]], who is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the [[Social Media Chairman]] (or lacking one, the [[Editor-in-Chief]]). At minimum, the page should be maintained at some low level so that the name is not usurped by others. Optimally, it would have regular postings, and feed suitable material to the [[Augustæum Editor|''Augustæum'' Editor]] for his consideration.
