One of the principle topics studied by members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is genealogy. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include a '''Genealogy Study Group'''.
Note that this group has been and would be separate from the [[Genealogy Committee]]. The Committee is responsible for conduction the Society's genealogical activities, while the Study Group would focus on developing the skills and practice of the Study Group members.
