The Library collection of The Augustan Society, Inc., is documented in an electronic Online Public Access Catalog, or OPAC.
The OPAC is available to all from the web site: <http://library.augustansociety.org>. Any web browser should be able to provide access; we are unaware of any which do not.
The software used is Koha <http://koha-community.org>, a free, open-source, community-supported software package that runs natively under Linux, and can be made to run under most versions of Windows and Mac OS-X or better through virtualization.
The software and data are located on the Society's off-site server, presently hosted by RimuHosting <http://rimuhosting.com/>.
At present, only books are being cataloged, though it is hoped that we will soon start to catalog periodicals as well. Eventually, the list is expected to expand to include videos, brochures, maps, and clipping files.
