The Library collection of The Augustan Society, Inc., is documented in an electronic Online Public Access Catalog, or OPAC.
The OPAC is available to all from the web site: <library.augustansociety.org>. Any graphical web browser should be able to provide access.
The software used is Koha <koha-community.org>, a free, open-source, community-supported software package that runs natively under Linux, and can be made to run under most versions of Windows and Mac OS-X or better through virtualization.
The software and data are located on the Society's off-site server, presently hosted by RimuHosting <rimuhosting.com>.
At present, only books and some periodicals are being cataloged. Eventually, the list is expected to expand to include videos, brochures, maps, and clipping files.
