In order to envision the future of The Augustan Society, Inc., the Board appointed a Long-Range Planning Committee, nicknamed "Augustan 75", to prepare such a plan. This committee was active in 2013 and 2014.

The reason for the "Augustan 75" nickname was the target date of 2032, the 75th anniversary of the Society.
