Numismatic Study Group

The Augustan Society, Inc., had the study of numismatics (coins) within its purview, and it was delegated to the Numismatic Study Group to conduct that study. In the natural course of events, this study has included compiling a small collection of coins.
These coins now having been disposed of as part of the purge of the Museum, it is appropriate to terminate this Study Group.
Books on the topic will be removed from the library and discarded as they are found.
The termination of this group is not meant to bar the study of coins within the Society; that is still possible under a new Coordinator. However, as the new program will not include a collection, a new charter will be required.
