Once the petition and payment are in hand at HQ, the procedure is:
# Check the [[Master RosterMembership Book]] to see if the petition is a former member. If so, refer to the procedure under [[Return to Membership]].# Enter the petitioner's name in the Master Roster Membership Book and assign a [[Membership Number]].# Create a [[Secretary's Welcome|letter of welcome]] letter from the [[Secretary]] (presently signed electronically).
# Create a [[Membership Card]], signed by a Consul.
# Create a [[Certificate of Membership]], presently signed electronically by the President and Secretary, and affix the Corporate Seal.
# Create a [[Consuls' Welcome|memo of welcome]] memo from the Consuls.# Mail the above four items, plus the current [[Augustæum]] and the current [[The Augustan Omnibus|Ominbus]] to the new member.
# Notify the [[Custodian of Insignia]] to send a [[Member Pin]] to the new member.
# Enter the new member's data into the [[Membership BookRoster]].
# Send an email to the [[Directors]] informing them of the new member, including the text of their petition.
# After two weeks, send a summary of their interests to the list of [[Committee Chairmen]].
