One of the subjects of the members of The Augustan Society, Inc., is Roman history, politics, philosophy, and its legacy. Thus it is appropriate for the Society to include an Anthropology Study Group.

Presently inactive, this group has at times been expanded into a Grecco-Roman Study Group. Such expansions (and contractions) are routinely made and undone as the interests of the membership dictate.

The first task of such a revived group would be to create a Charter to define the scope of their studies.
